Tony's Background

Tony's been around racing all his life helping his dad build motors and working on pit crews for a few different late model drivers . In 2004 he decided to start driving himself and bought a car to run in the Hobby Stock Division at Potomac Speedway in Budds Creek, Maryland . He had a good rookie year finishing in the top 10 in points and earning rookie of the year honors . In 2005 he stepped up his program buying the car that won the championship the previous year . He had a great year winning 4 races , finished 2nd in points, earned most improved driver and won the sportsmanship award . In 2006 Tony stayed with the same car, put a new body on over the winter and had the engine rebuilt. The results for 06 was a carbon copy of 05 Tony won 4 races and finished 2nd in points again. In 07 we got a new paint scheme lookin to change our luck and win the championship but it just was'ent meant to be as we finished in the runner up position again. The Hobby Stock was sold over the winter and Tony bought a Dirt Modified to race this year at Potomac Speedway and VMS in Virginia.
